At a young age of 21 months, it is clear to me that Samantha is good at what she loves doing best: dancing and singing. She sings and dances whenever the opportunity calls for it. How did she learn doing such? She watches her Barney videos for hours on end. And she also loves watching anything that involves dancing and singing. She would stare at person singing or dancing, as if studying their gestures, and then after a while, she would copy them. She is a very observant child. She even knows what is the next step to a particular Barney song. I guess I am going to be one proud stage mama as she grows older. Hehe!The first time she really sang using a flashlight as her mic.

She also loves to scribble. I am exposing her to coloring books and drawing at her age, hoping that she will also come to like it. I love to paint and it is a talent that I never really got around to developing because I am busy pursuing something else. I hope that Samantha will take after me when it comes to being artistic. But I guess, only time will tell.More talented little ones over at Chris of The Mommy Journey!
