Careless Whispers

The following Blog Review is an official entry to Kaye and Pehpot's Blogversary Contest. If you haven't encountered this blog yet, read on to find out why it's worthy of a visit.

Each time I come across this blog, a song by George Michael always plays in my head. It goes something like this:

Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
And there's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find

The blog Careless Whispers does not speak of the pains that the song contains, and that is a relief. The blog is authored by Grace, and I first came across this blog through Adgitize. If you are familiar with the ad that has a colored drawing of a bee in it, click on it and it will take you to the blog. It is a personal blog where Grace writes about the dramas in her life. I got concerned for the safety of her kids when she wrote about an unlucky day and could feel her frustration and disappointment when she wrote a short post about their postponed travel plans. If you want to know if a person is lying, then read her very interesting "our eyes speak" entry. Hehe!

The blog is written on blogger platform and has a two-column template. Various ads can be found on the sidebar as well as badges, a blogroll and the Follow gadget. I can't find the archives and labels though so that I would recommend that the author add them so that readers can easily jump from one topic to another.

This is just another worthy read. So be sure to drop by, read around... Let's see if you hear the song "Careless Whispers" playing in your head too.
