I have been "house hunting" on the Internet for quiet some time now. As most of you may have already known, we are looking for a smaller and cheaper place to move in to because we will be staying here for quite some time. I found out a few weeks back that a three-room apartment at the adjacent building is going to be vacated by the end of September and so I hurriedly called the landlord if it is possible to look at the apartment and if it is possible for us to move in without having to go through the usual ruling of informing the landlord about cancelling the existing rental contract three months before the planned move out date and all those stuff. After all, we are current renters. The lady who answered me on the phone gladly set up an appointment for us to see the unit and upon seeing it, I said to myself: "this is it!"
I can already imagine the furniture and the decoration of our new abode. The memory foam mattress that we will put on the bed frames, the couch and the center table, a tv stand and some book shelves, a new dining table and set of chairs. Just the basic furniture, enough to get us settled in. Since we will be staying and not going anywhere for a number of years, I thought that now is the right time to invest on some home furniture and home decors.
The problem I have right now though is that the landlord still hasn't emailed me the details as promised. Each time I call to follow-up, they would just tell me that they have yet to ask a colleague or that they will just email us soon. I on the other hand, don't have the luxury of time because I will soon start at the university and only have little time left to spare. So I hope that things will be clearer in the days to come. In the meantime, I am going to continue looking for available apartments near us. Here's keeping my fingers crossed.

I hope that you will get that room and start decorating.
