Turning Three Soon

My little girl turns three years old a couple of weeks from now. I just can't believe how time flies so fast. Already three? As a parent, I delight at the thought. My little girl will soon turn three and I beam each time she answers anybody who asks her how old she is with her hand showing three fingers and her small voice saying "drei jahre". 

Going to the KiTa (Kindertageseinrichtung), or day care facilities or kindergarten, has really helped her a lot in terms of German communication. She can speak more clearly now and is able to mix German, English and Cebuano when communicating with us here at home. She is now also well adjusted to the other children at the KiTa and looks forward to seeing them. She would talk about what she did using simple words and can generally respond to our questions. Her imagination is also working as she role plays the events of the day or sings songs that I know she learned from her teachers.

She looks forward to birthday celebrations and associates it with cakes, colorful princess crowns and face paints. I know she is excited for her very own birthday celebration and I hope that she will enjoy it. I have yet to plan with her teacher for her birthday celebration at the KiTa. I still need to prepare some invites for her Filipino friends since we will also have a separate celebration for her with our Filipino friends. I literally have a lot things to do and I will need a miracle to be able to accomplish them all!
